Chiropractic is the world's third largest primary health care profession after medicine and dentistry.

It is a holistic approach to pain and takes into consideration a patient's lifestyle along with the biomechanics of the whole body to fully assess and diagnose the problem. Once the cause of the problem is identified and removed, normal function can be restored and the body can heal naturally.

How does it work?

Our chiropractors use their hands or an adjusting tool to perform specific manipulations on the joints in the body. The manipulation is the application of a specific small force to a joint, which restores normal motion, reduces muscle spasm and alleviates associated pain. Mobilisation techniques may also be used when appropriate. Chiropractors can also take x-rays to aid the diagnosis of a problem or can arrange an MRI if required.

Our approach with all patients involves taking a complete health history and performing neurological and orthopaedic tests to arrive at the most appropriate diagnosis and treatment method for the condition and consistent with the patient's age.
